Steve Martin and Kermit the Frog Play 'Dueling Banjos'

It's the 21st century and you think you've seen everything, but what you haven't seen is Steve Martin challenging Kermit the Frog to the "Dueling Banjos" duet immortalized in the film version of James Dickey's Deliverance. Watching this is like stepping into a time machine that takes you straight back to the 1970s (in a good way).

I can't think of a better enticement to return to the present day than this recently unearthed video of "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage hula-hooping at a gay bar in Canada. Re-read that a couple of times and savor every syllable. How is this guy not world famous?

I guess he would be if dudes like Ben Affleck weren't hogging all the superhero roles. That's right -- Affleck is our new Batman.  Shouldn't already having played a gloomy superhero from the Marvel universe ("Daredevil") disqualify him? Doesn't he have Academy Awards for directing to try and win instead?

To soothe the outrage (if not yours, my own) I humbly offer the LEGO version of the upcoming Hobbit film, "The Desolation of Smaug." Apparently this trailer took two months to make, which is a shame -- I would love to lobby for them to do the entire movie like this, but what are the odds they'd be done by the time the third one came out? Watch below.
