The holiday season is known for its excess -- packed malls, overbooked flights, feast after feast of gorge-worthy treats, and, as studios roll out their awards season hopefuls alongside big budget antidotes to too much family time, it’s an embarrassment of movie riches. Here at Signature, we’re particularly excited to report that the 2013 holiday movie slate is packed with a delicious assortment of page-to-screen adaptations diverse enough to please nearly any predilection.
From October’s remake of Stephen King’s “Carrie” to November’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” to December’s “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” the breadth of onscreen entertainment is staggering, which is why we couldn’t just sit by and watch as moviegoers floundered, near-paralyzed by indecision. What have we done to rectify the situation? Herewith, we present your Signature Holiday Movie Adaptation Guide. Simply start with the first question — Are you in the mood for a sequel? — and we’ll guide you from there.
